i have been going through the mission impossible series. i never watched em as they came out after 2 because i didn’t like it, but with just dead reckoning to go they are on quite a run of quality action films. 2 still sucks besides the limp bizkit banger 3 sucks too but gets kinda redeemed by PSH Love the entire franchise. Not a bad apple in the bunch. |

Used to shop at this record store so pretty excited to see this.
some observations from my trips there:
-five foot tall pile of empty beers out back
-there would sometimes be a half empty (half full?) bottle of beer sitting on top of records on the shelf
-after several visits I realized all the best records were in cardboard boxes under the shelves. I think he would take them to record fairs or something but was too lazy to put them back out at the store after
-one time I got home with some 7” I bought there and discovered there was a bunch of loose tobacco in the bottom of the sleeve

Watching "they cloned tyrone". Im likin it Excellent. The cinematography is offensive because it’s so good. The lighting, sets/locations, insane mood. The tension in the scene with Boyega sitting in his car outside of Jamie Foxx’s place is straight up perfection. |

While I am sure that this will still suck, it looks like a step above AVP/Prometheus/Covenant. I didn't even bother to watch Covenant, but I'll probably see it. The trailer makes it look like some sort of compromise between the first two movies. It’s set in that 57 year gap between Alien and Aliens so I’m sure we’ll get some colonial marines and maybe some other tie ins to those other two movies. Fede seems somewhat competent so it really comes down to how much studio involvement we’ll be getting here. I was thinking of this trailer and find it hilarious that Weyland Yout is always the big bad in every Alien film when in Aliums 4 the scientist mentions how WY got absolutely washed by fucking Wall Mart in a corporate conflict. I wanna see the canonical Wal Mart Commandos in a Alien movie |
