I love this trade for the Bears. The odds you're gonna get a Khalil Mack caliber player with any pick, but especially where they would have been picking without him, would have been astronomically slim. Plus they keep him off the Packers.

I'd be a bit worried about trading two 1st round picks for a guy who regressed last season. If he can get back to an All-Pro level then it's worth it, but if not then this could backfire badly.

He has slightly regressed.. His sack totals have dropped the last two years, last season his pressures dropped and he only created one turnover, on top of missing out on being named All Pro. He's obviously still an elite player right now and any team would want to sign him, but assuming that he's going to keep up with a ridiculous pace for the next 3-4 years is asking a bit much too.

Let's say he puts up one more All Pro season, and the Bears only win one or two playoff games during his tenure, is that worth two firsts?

Fangio the perfect DC for him to play with and puts an already ascending Defense as a possible top 5. Vegas odds on bears winning the playoffs just wen't from 100-1 to 40-1.

But its the bears so Mack probably blows his knee out week 3.

The Packers had interest/wen't after Vic Fangio, Kyle Fuller, Allen Robinson and now Khalil Mack and they are all on the Bears. I don't know how anyone who is a Bears fan is not a fan of this trade.

feels good man. considering the bears didnt give up any players, got a second rounder back and a conditional fifth, i think we can all happily live with it. All our good drafting has been done in later round anyway in recent years.

Crazy to be able to say Mack is on our team. 

Mack, Trevathan, Roquan Smith, Floyd, Amos, Hicks, Goldman is a pretty solid foundation for the D. Secondary's lives just got wayyy easier.

Trade official, source tells ESPN:

Bears get: Khalil Mack, a 2020 second-round round pick and a conditional 2020 fifth-round pick.

Raiders get: 2019 first-round pick, 2020 first-round pick, 2020 third-round pick, 2019 sixth-round pick.

Such an incredible deal for the Bears. Getting that 2nd rounder back in 2020 is huge. I don't think there's a non-tanking team in the league that would be disappointed if they made this trade for Mack.
