CM Punk might/will probably turn heel and that will open up who he can face. He's mentioned Jungle Boy a bunch of times as someone he would like to face. face/heel alignments have never really mattered in aew Thats a great point that's what makes AEW great but they absolutely need a legitimately hated heel it just makes the whole show better |

Tanahashi is the only logical opponent based on the fact that he constantly loses but is still the 2nd biggest draw in the company and the fact that he could drag a 4.5 star match out of anyone, even this awful version of Punk.
