I read that Kevin Nash got stabbed by accident with a dull knife that was supposed to be gimmicked but wasn't during the filming of Punisher and no sold it. It's the take that they used in the movie. I bet if you asked him right now he would tell you he should have fallen over and sold it like grim death. $$$$$$$. Kevin thought he was going to be an actor.

but seriously, idk its just different. i get not liking the vibe the pacing is way different and admittedly i'm not super versed in it but i take it with a grain of salt to what i usually enjoy and can pretty much enjoy what i'm seeing for what it is. plus saying lucha is awful is crazy because some of the best pwg matches of the last ten plus years involved lucha guys and totally changed the landscape of the newer generation getting jobs and getting paid so yeah lucha rules Perhaps if I understood Spanish I could actually enjoy it, but from the outsiders perspective it just looks like a bunch of superheroes with raw athleticism doing high spots. Lobsterdog is always posting lucha clips in here unfortunately they just don't do it for me. It's ironic because I discovered Lucha Libre during the Attitude Era by channel surfing one Saturday morning and continued to watch it every Saturday for years. What I'm trying to say is that LUCHA IS FOR THE KIDS!

Eddie Guerrero and Art Barr were an amazing tag team, and Art Barr had the greatest frog splash of his era.

I need to know Trish's husbands secret. Lol it's no secret he's probably a fitness guy and they workout together so the relationship is always built on wanting to look the best for each other. Like Nikita Lyons said, become what you want to attract.

What I'm trying to say is that LUCHA IS FOR THE KIDS! i would say thats actually a pretty accurate description because just like i said about the japanese treating it like a sport thats how mexican wrestlers are treated down there. the oldheads are quite literally superheroes mexcian crowds truly do just wanna see a madness because that to them is wrestling. the speed, the flips, the high spots etc. i will meet you halfway and say i almost always enjoy a lucha guy in other places. when they come to pwg when they're in japan etc because they really refine their craft to fit the bill. they get their shit in but they understand how to work in japan. dragon gate is a great example of that. those guys are all lucha born wrestlers but they give it that twist that makes it feel different. fuck all this talk about lucha and different places has me wanting to revisit what i consider prolly my all time favorite tag match (outside of kings road) ever. the crowd is absolutely red hot, the speed, the spots, it never slows down and truly has one of the most special endings ive ever seen in pro wrestling Open the Twin Gate Championship Match: Masato Yoshino & Shachihoko BOY (c) vs Jimmy Susumu & Jimmy Kagetora

It's a rain day, so I'm doing some wrestling homework today.
Who is everyone's favourite strikers? All time or current? Or post some cool spots.

Were you there? I was, my first in person death match. They did 2 shows, one afternoon/one evening, I wen't to the evening. The ring, and the guys, were all already a bloody mess the second I got in there. There weren't any ring ropes, just a chain link cage. Because of this, there were no hi spots or "shoot the guy into the ropes" situations. Is this customary in Death Matches? The crowd was small, but passionate. At the end, Hoodfoot sliced his arm mad deep, it looked like you could see muscle. I would go check it out again. I wasn't, just watched on iwtv. That tournament is for their pit fighter thing, it's basically how they do their no ring stuff. Came out of covid era, they have done them in different settings. ICWs normal shows they use chains instead of ropes. JWM shoving the gusset plate in the wound if hoodfoot was so nasty. I love it. I love UV/DM wrestling so much. Akira mangled. That makes sense, so what I saw was a "worked" pit fight situation? Akira - He was walking around and he had the eye patch/head wrap thing on. Is that a work or did he really injure his eye to the point of needing the dressing?

Akiras cut was legit, I think he took a razor blade to the eyebrow.

I was a big fan of Kidman starting with the flock then enjoyed his run when he left. Granted I was like 12 at the time and havenβt revisited much but I feel like he put on good cruiserweight matches, helped he was wrestling other good cruisers at the time too.

miss me with short hair actual wrestling gear era. I feel like kidman is adequately rated. The whole he cant be powerbombed thing was really cool and lent credibility to why he could best or are least give bigger dudes a problem.

I still vividly remember as a kid Kidman botching a SSP and landing on the turnbuckle thinking he died.
He had a great run after he left the flock, and always produced some bangers on Velocity.
