i haven't seen a ziggler match in years but if he can still go i would love to see him in aew. he won't do anything for ratings and nobody will be happy about it but if there's anything in the tank i'd be thrilled to see it for a quick run

So as of now: Smackdown - 280m a year Archive - 200m a year Raw - 265m a year (deal expires next September) So WWE is getting 745m a year in guaranteed money directly from Comcast. And then the streamers fucking wonder why they can't turn a profit. I think Ali has a lot to offer and Ziggler teaming with his brother against teams like FTR and Bullet Club is good but everyone else is probably on their way to Impact.
Apparently WWE being the carny fuckers they are, have been telling everyone they're going to get like 3-5 billion in a TV deal so the 1.4 is a let down and the stock is tanking.

Nah, they said they added a bunch of $30 sections and sold about 3k at the gates. That's crazy for any company. I guess it was the local media push but the local media push never really makes a difference. Those boys must've been cutting insane promos on the local news.
They actually weren't cutting any promos on local news, at all. And there were entire sections in the arena completely blacked out that were never blacked out before. Someone is lying. |

In AEW, The Young Bucks have worked 7 tag matches (not trios) in 2023.
- They didn't work any tag matches after July 13th in 2022. They worked 11 total in 2022.
- They worked 13 tag matches in 2021.
- They worked 14 tag matches in 2020.
- They worked 9 tag matches in 2019.
That makes for a total of 54 tag matches ever in the company's history.
That's kind of crazy. Between 110 episodes of Rampage, 210 episodes of Dynamite, and 23 PPVs.

I asked a few of my buddies and they said nothing seemed that out of the norm considering the crowd it ended up drawing. Obviously it didnβt sell as well as the last two years but youβve been making it sound like an NWA taping or something but I also do want to see if this shit really was filled like garbage. Im wondering why they didnβt pull people into the box seats, thatβs v weird to me  Edit: Tony needs to also realize that these rocketing ticket prices ARENβT helping and that local promotion in these markets DOES help. Crazy how theyβve been relying on names-only to pull crowds in the past. A little effort goes a very long way. |
