They actually weren't cutting any promos on local news, at all. And there were entire sections in the arena completely blacked out that were never blacked out before. Someone is lying. Dude what? They had MJF all over the TV doing promotion- like that stuff isn’t hard to find clips of. I’m also confused about what you’re saying “entire sections completely blacked out.” I’m watching clips on IG from people that had stayed there for Rampage… still looked very very packed and the only shit I’ve been seeing tarped off are the hard camera sides and the usual spots that line up behind/next to the stage setups. I asked a few of my buddies and they said nothing seemed that out of the norm considering the crowd it ended up drawing. Obviously it didn’t sell as well as the last two years but you’ve been making it sound like an NWA taping or something but I also do want to see if this shit really was filled like garbage. Im wondering why they didn’t pull people into the box seats, that’s v weird to me  Edit: Tony needs to also realize that these rocketing ticket prices AREN’T helping and that local promotion in these markets DOES help. Crazy how they’ve been relying on names-only to pull crowds in the past. A little effort goes a very long way. You can't see it in this pic, but aside from the box seats being empty there was an empty section that was full last year. I just thought it looked weird. So yea not exactly entire sections lol. They've flown in like 25 japanese women and instead of using any name value whatsoever, theyve repackaged them as brand new KAWAII anime characters and its pretty rough.

maybe at some point early in aew? ive never watched any of his early indy shit i don't watch chikara or known what hes done in the last 13 years that ive wtched jp/indy wrestling if theres any posts in here of me being overly supportive prolly hes had some decent matches its just this whole idea that his entire gimmick is that hes just a mark. thats what grinds my gears. i let a lot of shit slide in wrestling but and i mean this in the most absolute cringe way theres still a few things that i value in wrestlers and thats first and foremost just being a wrestler. the fact he just constantly sucks off other wrestlers the fact hes always bringing up kobashi while working in new japan its just corny man i can't act like i don't cringe every single time i see him do those piss poor chops in the corner
