I saw that Corbyn might stand to lose his seat as an independent. Which is like, the only chair I care about the results of. It'd be so fucking tragic if he lost to some private healthcare stooge especially after the way he was treated by his former party. The UK is a dump.

It's always funny when the Lib Dems get a boost out of nowhere because they'll do absolutely nothing with it.

Rather a Labour landslide than five more years of tories 25 years of Labour here and Wales is the poorest country in the UK with the lowest living standards. Worst performing on most metrics. I’ve been on a waiting list to see a specialist for 4 years. New Labour or Tory, makes no difference.

He’s got the huge name recognition and he’s really well liked in Islington. Depends how bad people there wanted to stick it to the Tories.

Maybe that’s why this old ass MAGA woman at the bar was screaming “You were never a virgin!” At the speakers when Madonna came on.

My old man lives in Florida. He’s always voted red. After witnessing what the Supreme Court pulled this week he said he would vote for Biden to prevent another Trump presidency. I was jawdropped. I wonder if there’s an actual conservative base out there that feels the same way?

There are plenty of people who bought into Trump's "anti-corruption" appeal that has been withering away.

My old man lives in Florida. He’s always voted red. After witnessing what the Supreme Court pulled this week he said he would vote for Biden to prevent another Trump presidency. I was jawdropped. I wonder if there’s an actual conservative base out there that feels the same way? Probably. There’s a not insignificant segment of the right that disavowed trump when he banned bump stocks and whatever other anti 2a things he did, and I’d imagine there’s a decent number of the constitutionalist type folks that are livid about the Supreme Court ruling. I would think that the folks who reluctantly voted trump because he wasn’t Hillary and was different but weren’t necessarily traditional conservative, if they’re politically literate at all, are probably also feeling some kind of way. This might be a stretch, but I don’t think trump is super popular amongst many real, intelligent, proud of democracy conservatives. This country is 2/3rds politically smooth brained, hence the maga love from people who don’t actually understand politics and don’t have the capacity to think critically whatsoever.

SNP completely bumbling Scotland is impressive. It’s not really surprising mind, as they’ve been a joke the last few years, but still didn’t expect them to do so bad.

Reform potentially winning 13 seats is fucking scary to be honest… Farage/Tice running for the conservative party at the next election. Full on US right wing style populism. I'm calling it. Fuck labour, but having grown up in the bluest part of Wales it's amazing to see Tory oblivion after so many years even if we are getting the same old shit

I totally understand why someone left leaning on the other side of the bridge would be stoked by this map; Personally, I woke up completely frustrated by it. Three of the outgoing tories were some of the worst Dic Siôn Dafydd types. It’s the only real positive I get from the result in Cymru.
