This country will be fucked for generations now because of him retiring. I’m not too familiar with Kennedy, which way did he usually vote? He was appointed by Regan, but has historically been a swing vote. He is certainly on the conservative side of the spectrum, but has voted in favor of same-sex marriage and protecting roe v wade. Another Trump appointee basically removes the chance of the Supreme Court doing anything decent for the next several decades. |

Really though... Today is the bleakest I’ve felt since the morning after the election. It really feels like the country is slipping away. I know that’s pretty fatalistic, but shit, it’s really difficult to hold on to any sort of positivity.

I deleted Facebook because I couldn’t stand seeing the misinformation from friends and family on both sides of the spectrum. It’s seriously depressing me.
