Thats dope. I actually joined DSA circa 15000 members, which makes me extremely powerful.
But really, joining DSA is cool and all, but it really comes down to how good your local chapter is if you even have one.

Pretty standard fare electoralism. These are gains ill happily take though, dont get me wrong.

The national infrastructure is fairly new. I think electing DSA members is just now becoming palatable for some mainstream voters on the coasts. A lot of progress can be made in 2019 and on into the general election. |

I mean, it's mostly an entertainment fest. Look at the rest of the lineup: John Mulaney, Patton Oswalt, Kacey Musgraces, Boots Riley, Jim Carrey, Judd Apatow, etc. I'd be shocked if he isnt dropped from it in the coming weeks. I definitely expect Patton, Boots, or Judd to have SOMETHING to say. It'd be hypocritical if they personally didnt do anything considering how vocal theyve been in their criticism of this shitshow (term can be used interchangeably for the administration or Bannon).
