What I learned is that the median voter does believe that racism is generally an icky no-no bad bad, BUT is still confused by and wary of the concept of multiracial identities.

1) Trump not understanding that people can be biracial.
2) Trump not understanding that "immigrants seeking asylum" doesn't mean "criminally insane people breaking out of asylums and crossing the border."

anti-trust laws are good but they wouldn't immediately make things cheaper (and it some specific cases it would definitely make things more expensive). We've currently got the most stridently anti-trust Federal Trade Commission chair in decades. I don't know how exactly anti-trust would have done much to curtail the factors that set inflation off this time, since it had to do with a supply chain pushed beyond reasonable limit, tariff- and consumer-generated port congestion, etc.
