Showing the tiniest bit of spine because you don't like the president for personal reasons doesn't erase a history of being a shit person. He also helped usher in this era where stupidity is accepted and considered how 'real people' act thanks to Palin.

Can't say I liked him per se, but respected him and his life. I think the world would certainly be better if people in his party adopted his principles. Principles like "not making MLK day a holiday", "supporting every American war" and "giving massive tax cuts to the rich" Yep, those are exactly the ones I was referring to. Thanks for unpacking that.

Thanks for unpacking that. So what principles WERE you referring to then? The ones where he talked all kinds of shit about standing up to Trump and then voted with his shit 83% of the time even though he knew he was dying and would never have to face angry primary voters? What principles about this man were actually good? Lets hear it.

We're just going to be talking past each other because of this: you are viewing him in the context of your own values, and I am looking at him in relation to other Republicans.
So with that framing, his bipartisanship and decency compared to many of his fellow party members stands out. Ocasio Cortez is also getting roasted on Twitter for saying the same thing.

What bipartisanship and what decency? He called his wife a cunt on the campaign trail. He sat on Ellen talking about how gays didn't deserve as many rights as straights. He still referred to the Vietnamese as "gooks". He called the president of Iran a monkey. How is he different than other Republicans in your eyes?

Plenty has been written about it in the past 24 hours from just about every news outlet. You can Google it if you're still interested, but I'm done debating it.

That turd Milo is pretty much irrelevant a this point. Now he's trying to be edgy to generate some press.

apparently the governor of Arizona is leaning towards giving McCain's senate seat to one of his family members.

That seems pretty unlikely. AZ Republicans have pretty much turned their backs on McCain. Even the relatively “moderate” republican candidate running for senate didn’t want anything to do with him. The governor probably isn’t going to risk his neck come November by giving the seat to another McCain.

Senator Megan McCain would be enough to make me openly root for Iran in the coming war.

Her only major policy push will be replacing the Senate cafeteria with a Panera.

Trump also remembers Pearl Harbor starring: Ben Afflec, Josh Hartnett, and Kate Beckinsdale.

it would be really funny if Trump ends up bringing all these horrible tech companies under actual regulations but for all the wrong reasons.
