If Cuomo is to remain, the least we could have is Teachout as the watchdog... yeah that really sucks. Tish James is a shell of her former self.
Also funny that Nixon won all the counties surrounding and including Albany and not one in HV/NYC/LI.

Progressive candidates won nearly across the board in the state Senate primaries. Last night was a really successful night, you have no idea.
Nixon never had a chance. I expected Teachout to do somewhat better than she did but Tish had alot of powerful people's backing.

Most of NY is Trump country but the city determines who's governor. Getting anything done is brutal. |

Basically, at least three women, and his teenage daughter, have accused him of of domestic violence but he's refusing to step down because he says "it ain't about the job." What he means by that is his alleged abuse is irrelevant because he's a good mayor. He just gave a press conference yesterday where he blamed his (ex) wife and teenage daughter of being liars and drug addicts. He also sent the police to arrest a guy who criticized him on facebook and then wen't on the radio to accuse that guy of selling drugs to kids, which was totally unfounded, and that whole ordeal is gonna cost the city about 100k. |

In a depressing update, his ex wife was hospitalized yesterday after an apparent overdose. |
