I stumbled across some dumbass libtard o-count yesterday. I was working my way through their feed getting myself all pissed off (it’s the healthy thing to do). Came across a post from them in November 2020 showing the red/blue state breakdown showing Biden had won. The caption was like “I’m so glad my son’s first election was this historic one!! Love wins!!! #BidenBeatTrump #VPHarris” Fucking kill yourself. Fuck you Kids are in cages. Innocent people are dying. The economy is fucked - but hey, at least it’s not trump in office!! It's insane he's even a consideration to run again. He turns 81 next month. He'll be 9 years older than Reagan was at the end of both of their second terms. Again, I ask: What the fuck are we doing? Racing to the bottom, dude. We’re in a country that’s deadlocked from getting anything done by these fucking hicks who have a disproportionate amount of power for some dumb reason. The system wasn’t built for this bullshit, especially not in these amounts and it’s starting to crumble. We’ve been allowing these senile old fucks to run the show for a long time, Trump just showed people you can be an old fuck with zero regard for the norms that sort of held stuff together and with zero repercussions, and if you have enough money you can just abuse and grind down the legal mechanisms meant to hold people accountable. All this shit from every side of supporting Israel flat out conducting genocide, attacking Mexican drug cartels, supporting Ukraine, the culture wars, abortion and LGBTQ+ rights etc, are just distracting from the fact that we’re fucked and everyone knows it. The system was desighned to funnel wealth to rich people from the rest of us, so I'm afraid you are mistaken. The system was built exactly for this. |

The HOR definitely doesn’t have any adequate built-in mechanism for keeping thoroughly inadequate candidates from securing seats and wreaking havoc out of sheer ignorance. They couldn’t do anything right even if they wanted to. Congress has a lot of control over funding and a lot of the supposed “oversight” consists of nothing but politicians harassing and demeaning their demonstrably more competent bureaucratic counterparts. The only thing keeping the wheels on when it comes to domestic policy is lobbyists and bureaucrats.

Just had an extremely uncomfortable call with a job recruiter where he spent the first 10 minutes of a 30 minute call (that he was 10 minutes late for) talking to me about Israel - Palestine. Apparently all four of his nephews are getting recalled by the IDF (the recall going up to age 40 which is apparently rare). He then wen't on to talk about how scary it must have been to at a rave and then a bunch of guys just rolled up to shoot them. He also said how crazy must the people blaming the ravers for getting killed must be.
I just kept saying "that's horrible" and I used the word "unfortunate" a lot. I legit thought I was getting punk'd.
