Trump inspired leftist discourse that amounted to jack shit. Bernie couldn't even get as many votes as he did in 16. Fuck Warren.
We should still be on the streets for Floyd. Fuck Obamas lame ass sex call with Lebron James too.
I don't want a Fourth fucking Reich threatening my child while a bunch of non lifting Sean's and Dogdicks saying it's just a stones throw away.
And just for the record I also hate neoliberalism too. But if the GOP win 24, they're never ever going away.
All of our racist uncles should've died of alcohol poisoning from 2010-2014 if turnouts were higher.

I’m not really sure what the elimination of the neoliberal establishment would mean in reality. People use the word “neoliberal” a lot, but it’s hard to determine what exactly they mean by that anymore.

It's definitely murky in a country with two right wing parties.

Neoliberalism is a meme. It's a term leftists heap on the establishment whenever apinions of theirs become mainstream. This is also a joke please don't fucking attack me you sickos. But if you agree, I'm dead serious.

like eric adams is pure evil who only got elected because liberal voters were incensed about george floyd that voting for a black man for mayor would make them feel better no matter what they believed (like if they were pure evil like eric adams).
eric adams doesn't get elected any other year.

Neoliberalism is the center of the democratic party Neoliberalism is the expansion and dominance of human capital theory Neoliberalism is supply-side economics Neoliberalism is actually a theory of law and state to protect globalizing capitalism

Neoliberalism specifically references a sea change in economics that followed vulgar Keynesian dominance from the end of World War II until the early 70’s. It was pushed by Hayek and Friedman, and to a lesser extent people like Robert Lucas and the real business cycle theorists. The general message was lax regulations, free trade, low taxes, breaking up unions, monetarism, lax antitrust, low government spending, and private property rights trumping individual rights. Oddly Carter is the first president to really adopt it, but Reagan and Thatcher are the ones who really embodied it. Clinton came in with a desire to return to new deal liberalism but was convinced by Larry Summers (fuck him) that it was cause interest rates to spike and cause a recession.
I think a lot of people see the term and just assume it’s the liberal version of neoconservatism.

Yeah, but then you got the whole Theodore-Schultz-to-Gary-Becker conception of human capital, and people also talk about that as the cornerstone of neoliberalism (Foucault, some Frankfurt School influenced critical theory types, and recently books like this: global.oup.com/academic/product/the-death-of-human-capital-9780190644314 or this www.cornellpress.cornell.edu/book/9781501768149/the-education-myth/).

i dont want to learn shit Put down the marxology and move into the light of west coast husserlian phenomenology and post-Habermasian thought, Sean. Think of the Sellarsian clash of the manifest and scientific images. Robert Pippin over Zizek. Read up on philosophical debates in cognitive science. It’s a better path.
