No one gives a fuck how congress declares a genocide or what happens when they do. Congress is populated nearly exclusively by limp dicked hospice escapees. What they declare a genocide has little to no bearing on reality by any moral or ethical standard.

Yes it does.

Law passes. U.S. formally acknowledges refugees. There are now Burmese refugee communities in the United States. They have homes and businesses.
Law does not pass. U.S. doesn't accept refugees.

The other two criteria:

-preventing births
-forcibly transferring children out of the group.

Pretty sure bombing hospitals covers the first one and I don't know the detention numbers but I'm willing to bet bombing aid shelters, hospitals and refugee camps kind of negates that last one. But yeah assdan, definitions are just vibes you fucking twat.

I think it's kinda confusing for certain posters to claim that it is bad that Israel is preventing aid from getting through, but also claim that the process by which aid is provided doesn't matter and isn't real. And I don't know how someone can look at something that officially calls for granting refugee status to more Palestinians and respond with "it doesn't matter, actually."
