I have relatives who live down in that cesspool of a retirement "community" and it's my understanding that those golf carts are kind of a status symbol. Even the gearheads get in on it and trick them out and have shows, all that bullshit. It's bizarre.

Yeah it's not shocking the old whites would act this way, but he clipped the vid specifically around the muchacho chanting "white power" at the beginning and thanked the "great people" of the Villages for their support. So pretty much just business as usual. Ya, me being glib about it isn't helping anything or progressing the necessary dialogue about transparency of action or what a shitbag the most visible man in america is... But, right now, he's fucking cooked. He's folded on every single stage he's had since the bunker story came out, while desperately ramping up the white nationalism in his outreach. It's kinda wierd to say it, but I'm "over" him at the moment. Sure, it's still a daily chore to confront the issues and people he represents but he just seems so small and weak mode that it's not worth giving him the time anymore. And a separate, general question, apropos of very little, is using the word "kowtow" racist? I'm just glad I don't have to read articles about he's not really a racist and is playing 36-d chess. |

a.) He wasn't briefed because he rarely holds intelligence briefings or attends them once they're set up.

All I can find, and maybe I'm wrong, is that McGrath took a slight lead but there are still precincts that haven't fully reported. So that just seems like the Buttigieg strategy of declaring victory at the exact moment the numbers seem to support the desired outcome, rather than actually being indicative of the final results.

Never said it had anything to do with the McGrath campaign. I was referring to the strategy of the establishment declaring victory for the preferred establishment candidate before all the votes are counted. She may indeed win, but in a race that's been so close up to this point (a few thousand votes?) I'm wary of any result being called before all the information is actually recorded. Especially after what we've already seen happen this year.
I do appreciate the source though, I'll definitely check him out.
