Watching this team play the Panthers makes me question why I even watch this sport every single time.

Watching this team play the Panthers makes me question why I even watch this sport every single time. Itās the same thing over and over. Dominate, bob makes a save, turn the puck over boom back of your net. For whatever reason they try to goad the Panthers into taking penalties nonstop and it just doesnāt work. They save their dumbest hockey for this specific team and itās baffling. |

Nope. First game I wen't to was in 2000 and they beat the Coyotes. Didn't go again until the Rock opened in 2007. Saw Marty six times, I think? I've been to way more games since he retired because I can afford it more often now, but this was the first shutout.
Last game was in Feb of 2023 when they beat the Canucks on a Hughes to Hughes goal in OT so I'm on a good little run here.

I'm 2-0 at the Rock (Marty wins record game and Game 5 of the finals in 2012) and I've seen them beat the bruins a ton in Boston including a blizzard game where I was probably one of like maybe 2000 people at TD but I think the devils lost like the last 4-5 times I saw them in Boston before I left
Never bothered to see them in Toronto because we sucked and lol paying maple leaves prices for tickets fuck that

0-1 in Vegas.
Headed to Calgary in a few weeks and will hopefully be 1-0 there.

Iāve been to probably 150 Devils games in my life. First game was in 93 when I was 4 years old.
Coolest game Iāve been to is Game 1 of the Cup Final in 2003 and then Game 1 against the Rangers in 06 when Elias had 6 points.
Worst game Iāve been to is either game 4 04 playoffs against the Flyers or opening night against the Stars in the year Maclean was the coach.
I was supposed to go to Game 7 against the Hurricanes in 09 but thankfully tore my meniscus the day before otherwise I would have jumped off the arena.

Don't know if any of you watched the opening of the CBJ game but god damn, it was devastating. They raised Johnny Hockey's number to the rafters with lots of tears from his teammates and his family. His dad looks absolutely wrecked. It was hard to watch.
