Their offense is contributing to me losing this week because I started Arizona’s garbage ass defense. Damn. How deep into the negative are you? Fortunately they ended up scoring one point because of sacks and an interception. It also helped that two of Denver’s TDs were defensive and didn’t count against the Arizona dst. |

What has been everyone’s biggest fantasy blunder so far this season? Could be a bad draft choice, bad waiver pickup, start/sit, etc.
Mine comes from before week one, but after the draft. I wen't Wr with my 1st, 2nd, and 4th picks in the draft, so my strategy was to pick up a bunch of late round RBs with upside to breakout. Which was a great choice. My RBs in the draft were Mixon, Miller, Ingram, Kerryon Johnson, and Sony Michel. But then I found out Leveon Bell might not report so I quickly scooped up James Conner as a free agent before week one. But that meant I had to drop a RB because we can only carry 5. I wen't with Michel because he was the last one I picked and he was injured. It was probably the right decision and if I didn’t know the future I’d probably do it again, and Conner has been great obviously, so it paid off. That said, had I dropped Miller instead, right now I’d have Conner, Ingram, Mixon, Kerryon, and Michel.

Not too big of a blunder for me, but more of a blown opportunity.
In my work league, the last place person was 0-5 and basically having open sale on her top players (Fournette, Devonta Freeman, and Thielen- the rest of her starting lineup was like Larry Fitz, Ty Montgomery, Cameron Brate, etc.). She basically wanted 2-for-1 deals on each of those 3 guys to make her team overall better.
So I offered her Geronimo Allison and Lamar Miller for Devonta Freeman as a baseline to see what she would counter with. At this point, Freeman had just come back for that one game but was missing practice for his injuries still. I expected him to be pretty much unstartable till their bye, but I had Coleman. My thought process was that Freeman would be my every-week RB2 after the bye, and I would have someone SOLID tobstart alongside Barkley.
She is a Packers fan, and this is the week before Valdez-Scantling wen't off. So she ends up just accepting the trade as is, and one week later Freeman gets placed on IR.
While I dont regret losing Miller or Allison, she ended up trading away Thielen and Fournette both with similar deals, so I wish I could have stolen Thielen with that same offer. But I didn't even expect her to take my Freeman offer, and mine was the first to get accepted.

Mixon and Ingram boned me this weekend. In order to survive my byepocalypse I need big games from Matt Ryan and Sanu and for OBJ to have a quiet game, which won’t happen because he is playing the Falcons.
On the upside, Gordon finally looks ready to breakout, so that’s pretty exciting. He was close to getting that TD yesterday and somehow looked like he was barely trying to get into the end zone.

To give y’all an idea of how good my 3-4 OBIL team is, I have to choose between flexing Josh Gordon, Mark Ingram, or Kerryon Johnson this week. And Matt Ryan is on a bye, so I have to start Russel Wilson instead. And I’m still fucking 3-4 despite probably having the most stacked team I’ve ever had in fantasy football.

I mean TECHNICALLY I've been thinking and saying it since before the season start but it's definitely one of those "straws that broke the camel's back" kinda things so I'll just let you have it. Goofy In-Law's league (16 person autodraft bullshit every year) question: Trying to get a WR1 in exchange for a top 15 RB in my other league. I have Kareem Hunt, Nick Chubb, Philip Lindsay, Tevin Coleman and Devontae Freeman on IR. HAVE to play 3 WRs on a weekly basis (no flex). Right now I'm rolling with AJ Green, Juju, and Kelvin Benjamin. Lindsay's stock is pretty high right now, and with Freeman slated to come back come FF playoff time I'm thinking I can coax a top 10 WR out of someone. |

In my 'holy shit I can't believe this actually happened' trade, I was able to get Joe Mixon in exchange for Uzomah and Kupp. In two weeks my RB/Flex will be Gordon, Mixon and Chubb ... in a 12 man league.
