On the one hand, it clearly shook up a lot of things considering the 1-3 seeds all wen't down in the first round.

On the other hand, it definitely creates a lack of incentive for finishing with the best records if there’s no reward. Like Tim and Yule almost certainly win out in any other circumstance so what’s the point of them trying to do well in the regular season now if someone with a 6-8 record can suck out and make the playoffs?

how is it a given any team could win out just because they want to....or win any single game for that matter ? GENERALLY, post week 10 your team is your team, with no BYEs i don't think deciding to win or lose games at the end of the season is a thing and even if it was it wouldn't change anything, the best teams would still prefer to play the not as good teams

which is the argument for BYEs, give some amount of a reward (one less round for the two best teams to not flunk out)

So obviously a bit of a situation in the Losman championship.

I was up 141-59 on Dildo and he had Mixon and Tyler Bass to go. Even if you take Mixon’s best week of the season (52 I think) and Bass’ best week (21) he’s not getting there. I feel like the most fair thing to do here is keep his score the same and give him Mixon and Bass’ totals from this coming week. My score obviously wouldn’t change.

Open to other suggestions from league members but I feel like that’s pretty fair.

Only other option I could think of is giving him Mixon and Bass’ average totals for the week which would be a combined like 25 points and obviously doesn’t get him close.
