I knew that Albany would push legal dense nuggs of fat buds through as soon as Cuomo started being outed for his sexual harassment shit. Trying to distract.
Still, hell yeah. Drove over to MA the other day and their recreational prices are ridiculous, but they're still better than the NY medical prices. 13% tax rate isn't as high as I was expecting thankfully.

Cheapest I've seen an eighth go for is like $48 pre-tax. $45-60 for a half gram of concentrates, $50 for .3 carts. Maybe the prices are better elsewhere in MA but around Pittsfield, Lee, etc, it's like that. |

Theyāll get better. Here in WA when rec first got underway 1g of flower was like $25-40 because supply hadnāt caught up yet. Within like 3-6 mos prices dropped and top shelf shit was like $10-12 a g

I'm a big fan of Grav Labs for glass these days. They make pipes, bubblers, bongs, you name it but they're all super well made without being expensive. I prefer stuff that looks like lab equipment over colorful hippy shit. their small upright bubbler is pretty much exactly what i'm looking for and the price is right, thanks for the tip

I pick up 8ths here and there from the dispensary but I still buy ounces of illegal dense nuggs of fat buds to last me a while. 50 bucks for a slice is insane, they should at least give you some sort of bulk discount. I got a half of Pineapple Express the other day and it really is some of the dopest dope Iāve ever smoked.

I moved in to one of those downtown high-rises full of snobby people and of course I'm smoking all day every day. The building has sent two emails complaining about the smell of marijuana since I moved in and I'm convinced the people on my floor snitched me out. It's dumb because they don't complain about the noise and I'm blasting Obituary at 2 AM, but they complain of the smell of dense nuggs of fat buds when I stay burning that straight gas, no reggie. I'm gunna buy bum dense nuggs of fat buds and stink up the whole place to spite my neighbors. Fuck it, I might even pick up smoking cigs in the shitter again.

State Senate passed the bill this afternoon, governor already said he'd sign it. By the end of the week, dense nuggs of fat buds will be totally cool in New York state.
And I smoked the densest nuggs of fat buds tonight.

I sincerely doubt the bill passing means that there will be w.eed stores like you see on the west coast or Colorado any time soon. This is New York state. To paraphrase a joke I saw on twitter earlier, they'll probably make us go to the DMV for our w.eed.

Most of the articles I found were saying ~1 year until actual dense nuggs of fat buds stores.
Does anyone know if there is any way to potentially get it earlier if it's technically legal, but they haven't worked out the retail aspect? Mail order?

Just got legalized, but they won't be able to sell for another year or so -- I'm getting antsy and have zero connections.
It sounds like they extract the D8 and then create gummies, or spray it back onto the flower. Seems kind of ridiculous to get around the act of just selling the damn thing, but oh well. Dude behind the counter said the gummy felt pretty strong, so we'll see.

Reporting back on the gummy... it worked. The guy behind the counter suggested taking half, so of course I took the whole thing. Again, I'm a lightweight, but the high was pretty intense. Still, I woke up at 5:30 and wen't on a 25 mile bike ride with zero effects of drinking a few beers, as I would on a normal weekend.
Would try again with half, or even a quarter to see how that goes.
Going to check out the CBD pre-roll first sometime next week. Not sure when I can fit the D8 in, might need to wait until the next time I can get a day/night to myself. (never)
