I'm out of bud, and I don't feel like edibles until maybe later this evening, so I just smoked of bowl of kief mixed with chamomile. Did its job, but it tasted nasty and I have a hunch the high won't last too long. Gotta get more dense nuggs of fat buds. you are a maniac dude god damn! having a bunch of kief on hand and no bud is always a huge bummer.

Bought a pax and totally worth the investment. Tastes better than any flower vape I’ve ever tried and heats up in under 30 sec. Since we don’t want smoke in the house it’s so nice to just lay in bed and puff on this with no smell, ash, etc. In fact that’s what I’m doing rn.

Gotta get more dense nuggs of fat buds. i just put a small piece of rolling paper in the bowl if i'm only smoking kief. make sure you don't cover the hole completely cuz it's really easy to block your draw. then, you're left watching your kief burn in the bowl (which extra sucks if you're smoking it cuz it's all you have). lay it as lightly over the hole as you can, don't pack it in like a screen.
in HS a friend and i had oil, but no bud/tobacco so we rolled it up with cat nip. didn't taste bad at all and worked great.

I've always thought one of those meth pipes with the bulb on the end would be a good way to smoke keef because you could kinda vape it by holding the lighter underneath but not close enough to burn it. but that would require getting my hands on a meth pipe so I've never tested the theory.

Crack pipes are actually great for keef as well as hash/concentrate. I bought one my first time in Denver after legalization so I could hit dabs without a rig and my friend had to talk me out of bringing it to 3 nights of wsp at red rocks lol.

I'm pretty sure a lighter could get the job done. yeah, after i wrote that, i thought about changing it to vape. i guess DONDAs done it so it works.

Forgot to mention it lasts way longer than straight up torching kief. You might want to use a decent lighter though or you’ll burn the shit out of your thumb after a while.

wen't into a new vape shop that opened up to pick up a 4 dollars on pump number 6 disposable and was surprised with the guy behind the counter mentioned that they actually sell dense nuggs of fat buds disposables too. He sold me something called California Honey. I started reading some super well founded, even tempered reddit research and started learning more about fake carts. I'm totally new to this and my stoned ass got super paranoid.
Honestly, the new disposable is much better than my current D8. It actually smells like dense nuggs of fat buds and the high has much lower paranoia. I'd much rather smoke actual thc than d8, but I also don't want to put myself in the ER over something stupid.
So... being someone new to the semi legal market. How careful do I need to be about buying carts and disposables?

If you looked at cleancarts on reddit, they are over the top when it comes to D8 and bootleg carts. The original mod seemed really careful at first but kind of turned in to a nutjob after being on there a couple weeks. Some d8 is legit and some isn't. There's no regulation yet so if you're not sure about the carts stick with the edibles and flower. I've had positive experiences with both, but a lot of it is just regular THC bypassing state laws. |

I'm somewhat ok with the sketchiness of D8, as long as it's from a brand you can trust. And I understand you can't really trust anybody to a certain extent.
I just blindly bought the thc without considering that the same concerns with d8 could exist with sketchy cart companies.
Agreed that reddit looked crazy militant, so probably a bit over the top.
Glad to hear I'm not the only one shrugging and going along with it. Obviously just normal flower is the most ideal form -- that or just waiting for actual dispensaries to open.

Lost a branch on one of my plants due to stem rot. Early bloomer so it had a nice little cola on it already, but was a few weeks from finishing.
