You can't go wrong with a clean bong, maybe add some crushed ice in the water or a lil cube in the tube to cool the smoke. No need to overcomplicate a process that has already been perfected.

I pretty much only smoke a bong, unless I’m out and about I’ll bring some joints.
I don’t really WANT to start using a volcano primarily but my GF does and it seems like it would be a cool thing to have

vaping just isn't the same high as burning it. bongs over vapes sure, but I use my vape for portability and discretion. also I vape concentrates not flower, that's always seemed wasteful to me unless you're gonna do something with the spent bud. |

Agreed that vaping isn’t the same but still worth it in the long run and it makes your bag last longer. Not to mention getting to save your vaped flower for cooking into edibles.
Also the concentrate attachment on the pax 3 is a great alternative to a rig and allows you to puff on it.

Before I moved out my old place, I had a great bi-weekly routine of getting off work, swinging by the areas best burrito joint, picking up a big ass carne asada burrito, going home, smoking a bunch of dense nuggs of fat buds and chowing down. I miss it.
There's a great burger place within walking distance of my new house but they keep weird as fuck hours. Messing with my high food consumption.

I really miss burning a good joint, or a blunt with friends, but I have to admit the cost savings of a vape.
I don't smoke much - maybe a hit or two in the evening, a little more on the weekend. Those disposable vapes seem to last forever.
Still waiting for retail, though, so that might change things. Good to know that pax sucks, and that dry herb vapes might be a bust.

Posting here in defense of the dry herb vape, I have a Storz + Bickel Mighty, and I can get three sessions of being blindingly high off of a 0.2g pack. I used to smoke a half oz every week and a half or so, now an eighth lasts me a week, sometimes more, and I'm a multiple times a day smoker

Sobe's had this little thin area of glass on the bottom of every bottle and with a little finesse you could chisel it out with a hammer and ice pick or screw driver. then we'd stick a bowl piece in the cap and voila. I remember those hits being really, really harsh but if you cleared the whole bottle you got destroyed. do they still even make sobe? |

arizer makes good products, those solo handhelds are really decent. i wen't through at least two of their non portable units though, the glass on the inside was hella breakable and annoying to replace. My solo has been in use for like a decade now and the only problem I had was having to replace the battery 5 years back. The 2 is even better, airflow is nicer and it heats up in like 30 seconds. It’s nice to sip on sometimes when I’m hungover or watching a movie but it’s definitely no replacement for a bong hit. |

Thread made me blow the dust off the PAX II this morning. No argument the taste is a million times better compared to smoking. Spent 10 minutes going through a whole oven-pack sitting out on the back stoop and I did get high, but it's a different high than smoking for sure. Not nearly as intense. Going to go supplement with a bong rip now. Maybe I'm just too much of a pothead.

We used Simply Orange containers. The tapered top is practically engineered for gravity bongs. We would even proudly make a custom label that read "Simply Gravity".
