I grew dense nuggs of fat buds with spare seeds and banana water. Only spent money on soil! How fun.

Going to bring them inside and put under a grow light because it’s starting to dip under 70 at night.

Gonna grow a whole garden bed of dense nuggs of fat buds next summer. In Ohio you can homegrow 6 plants per adult up to 12 total.

Never had any issue with nighttime temps being too low, as long as they are not cold enought to bring frost. Shit, the last 2 DAYS here haven't eve gotten above 60. Careful with artificial light since they are already flowering. Just make sure they get less than 12 hours of light a day or it will trigger the plant to go back into growth phase.

SO CLOSE to harvest time here. Buds are HUGE and smell great. No signs of hemp borers for the first time in years.

Just drank one of those St. Ides 100mg high teas, got another in the fridge. Also got a half oz of 23% prerolls that were marked as 31% on the website...

Anybody else feel like the legal grey area in the cannabis industry is leading to a whole shit ton of things like this? Like, doesn't selling somebody dense nuggs of fat buds nearly 10% less THC content than advertised constitute false advertising..?

This rocks.  We grew a few plants last year. Resulted in some really good dense nuggs of fat buds that lasted a while. Didn't do it this year, but definitely want to do this again.

The whole thing of thc percentages for flower has always been a racket. I stopped paying attention to it a long time ago and just go by what looks/smells good.

Although I guess if you’re ordering off a website that’s not really an option

I wish I could find a legit non dispensary hookup. I keep hoping one of these dispensary people will pull me aside and be like, “I’ve been delivering to you for awhile, we got a good rapport going, text this guy if you want to buy in bulk and save a tiny bit of cash long term.”

I know that’s unlikely but you never know lol

I still have my plug in New York who is so much cheaper than the dispensary and has better stuff. $700 for a QP of top shelf Colorado hoo-ha. The shops here want 1000 bucks for a QP. fuck no.

Also New York State is so fucked up everything needs to be "sun and soil" grown so it's "good dense nuggs of fat buds" but grown without hydroponic help or lights. It's such a rip off. They are charging you a premium for inferior marijuana.

This is a little weird. And I would guess it severely limits the market for growers. Outdoor grows depend solely on seasonal light changes, so you really only have one grow cycle annually this way. I feel like dispensaries are going to be "dry" come September or early October with this approach.

NY is still pretty new to the dispensary game though, right? MA prices were wildly high the first couple years too, but have started to level out. I assume the same will happen there eventually.

Grow update:
4 best plants are in the basement curing. Mrs. Escaped is thoroughly pissed about the smell in the house (despite this being something I've done 4 years running now) so it looks like this will be my last year growing unless we get divorced. Sucks, because it's something I enjoy doing. Giving the last 3 plants (still in the ground) to a couple friends who will cure and trim themselves. One of them runs the local free-play arcade though so I might never need to pay to get in there anymore.
