I never really like regular waffle knot long John’s, they never really did much for me. I was a big fan of underarmour whatever heat tech cold weather shit they had but they never really took the cold out just the wind/bite.
Best results I’ve had is wearing knee high wool socks and a lined chore coat. Lately I’ve just been wearing my high socks and more layers up top.
When it’s dummy cold and I’m working outside all day I’ll wear insulated bibs.
