Man, listen.  I ended up in rehab a few years ago because I was drinking myself blackout drunk every night for some years leading up.  As someone who has dealt with depression since early in life, I was prescribed an anti-depressant for the first time ever and the difference is night and day.*  Fast forward to now and shit's gone bad in my life again and instead of sinking into a hole or picking up the bottle I'm just dealing with it.  

*I'll add the caveat is I've been doing therapy in tandem with the anti-depressant.  I think both in tandem have contributed greatly to me being a functional shithead in society and being an overall better person.

The reason is because her 1992 book Sex apparently promotes sex, pornography, and homosexuality which are against the law in Ethiopia and Malawi. So we’re clear: Madonna’s Sex book was released in 1992 an entire four years before her first child was born. These people are fucking insane. Even then, they’re basically saying anyone who is queer / involved in sex work or pornography should not be allowed anywhere near children.
