Ok so I googled it. Of course it’s bullshit. Basically some organization in Ethiopia has asked the Malawian government to investigate / shut down Madonna’s nonprofit to help orphans in Malawi. The reason is because her 1992 book Sex apparently promotes sex, pornography, and homosexuality which are against the law in Ethiopia and Malawi. So we’re clear: Madonna’s Sex book was released in 1992 an entire four years before her first child was born. These people are fucking insane. Even then, they’re basically saying anyone who is queer / involved in sex work or pornography should not be allowed anywhere near children. www.sportskeeda.com/amp/pop-culture/truly-hard-comprehend-madonna-child-trafficking-claim-goes-viral-sparks-widespread-reactionsSo…JJ hasn’t done his research? Big surprise from a Big mouth

I mean it is objectively true there’s a call to investigate her for child sex trafficking in Africa. It’s also objectively true that the basis for the call to investigate her is fucking hard-rocking.

Another friend of his in NYC huh, the real pathetic laughing point here is not what he claims happened, but rather how many friends he claims to have. I bet every single person that attended his walking tours are unknowingly counted as "a friend of mine in NYC"

He was due for a slow day after having such a momentous and productive start to the year as noted in his e-mail blast from last week Copied and spoilered below for your reference Set Three Goals
So I've been reading an amazing book. "The 12 Week Year." by Brian Moran & Michael Lennington. Actually let me clarify, not just reading - but also applying what I'm reading. The above-mentioned book is not about only working for 3 months out of the twelve - it's not some get rich quick con job-. What it's doing is telling you to focus on Three Major Goals For 3 months. Then the next three and so on. You work on specific goals and deadlines within every 3 month block of time throughout the year. I've been utilizing that strategy with my three goals and let me tell you... it works. Here's My Three: 1. Dedicating 2-3 solid hours every day to the writing of my new book. No social media, no phone calls, no distractions. 2. Put in 2-3 hours every day on my TV pilot. Same thing. No distractions. 3. Get a base of fitness in before my coach starts sending training programs. So after two months I can tell you, the results are coming. I'm currently 1/2 way done with the book. I started six months ago - but now it's in overdrive. My pilot has taken on a life of its own. Scenes are jumping onto the page. And as far as my fitness, I've been in the gym, swimming, biking and running all winter and have kept my weight down to 165 lbs. Usually every race season there's that annoying 5-10 lbs to take off. Not this year. In my coaching business with clients and work shops I have always discussed breaking down big goals into smaller manageable. That's how I work. It gives you a place to start - and starting is half the battle - the other half is staying disciplined. You keep taking the small steps. Remember... they add up. As it's said, every marathon starts with a first step. The other thing you accomplish setting goals is you have a direction. A clear sense of where you want to be in life. One of the first questions I ask clients is where do you wanna be in 1 year. Then we work on a strategy to get there. What's referred to as "A Coaching Agreement" and an "Action Plan." You must hold yourself accountable to it as well.. That's where time management comes in (assuming you're not just lazy - and if you are - stop that shit). What I do is make a detailed list the night before of everything I'm planning to do, then I stick to it and execute. Flaking is never allowed! In fact my day started at 5:45 am and I haven't stopped all day. Inner work (meditation), writing, training, coaching, had a business meeting and now getting this newsletter letter done at 11:30 at night because I said I would. Another important act is shelving fear. As I said in "The PMA Effect" fear of failure can paralyze you from taking action. We must fail in order to succeed. If you think you're going to hit a homer every time you're at bat you are deluding yourself. You'll strike out, pop out, ground out, there may even be slumps. Real go-getters stay disciplined and work through all of those. One of the biggest things holding people back isn't a lack of knowledge, it's lack of applying that knowledge. So many have bookshelves filled with books on how to improve, but how many actually apply what's in those books? One of the things the 12 Week Year says is important is to have a vision that you are emotionally attached to. Why? Because when the tough moments come - and trust me they will - you will not quit. They write, "Without a compelling vision you will discover there is no reason to go through the pain go change." Perfect example, losing my younger brother to addiction in October of last year while I was in the middle of writing book on addiction. It's made me have a much deeper emotional connection to the work. Even my pilot, it helped me find deeper meaning so once again there's an emotional connection which keeps me inspired. Finally, we must always be willing to dream beyond our current situation. To do that the people we surround ourselves with are vitally important. In my coaching system I refer to that as, "Identifying Our Support Network". The hard truth is when you get dead serious and laser focused you will no doubt have to cut some people off. That may seem harsh but it's a fact. You have to become selfish with your time and anyone who is a distraction... must go. It's always the ones with the daily drama, who never try and fix their shit - but instead wanna talk about it when I'm working and they're at the bar with a few drinks in them. Sorry Charlie, I got no time for that BS. Time is our must valuable commodity and we must never waste it, but instead utilize it to chase after our dreams every waking hour of every day.

We could, uh, concentrate all the self-help gurus in a camp and nothing of value would be lost. Probably would do society a whole lot of good.
