Godbelow ruled. One of Syracuse’s secret gems. I only got to see them once but it was a great show: Ruination, Ringworm, Godbelow, The Swarm (last show). I don't remember much about their set other than they were really heavy. I've been listening to the LP a lot because of this split. |

wen't up to Woodstock today and while walking around saw a new store with no sign so I popped my head in and asked if they were open and the guy said “Kinda?” Picked up

Got the new Metal Blade reissue of Mercyful Fate - Melissa and a used Basement - Colourmeinkindness 4th press today. Darkside Records in Poughkeepsie is sick. When they first opened they were in a spot about 1/8th of the size and I didn’t think they would last more than a year or two. Then they moved into the huge location and I thought that would def be the end of it. Thankfully they’ve made it through all my pessimism and I’ve gotten a lot of good stuff there over the years. Some of the used stuff that comes in is insane. |
