Random question, where does everyone store collaboration records? Right now I have them mixed in with the rest of my records by which ever band name is listed first (ie The Body and Thou collabs are kept with the The Body records). I keep splits in their own section (alphabetized by first band listed), so I’m thinking collabs should have their own section.

With various artist comps in a huge disorganized mess on the bottom shelf.

Generally by the artist I like more. Like my Jesu/Sun Kil Moon is under SKM or my Gutless/Mortal Wound split thats under Gutless

I also used to store collabs (and splits) by favorite artist first. Comps got their own section in the back. Lately though, I've been lazy and my organization wen't to shit. The past month in 7"s:

I’m a total weirdo in that I shelve my LPs by how the spines aesthetically flow and generally categorize by date purchased.

Maaan I would never remember where anything was hahaha Same. I wish I could do that because I’m constantly shifting things and it’s a nightmare when cubes start to fill up.

I don’t know how but I typically tend to go right to them. I’ve definitely spent the good chunk of a morning looking for a record tho lol. I definitely have ocd.
I'd like to discuss how you guys store records with no print on the spine/diy folded covers! Posted this a while back I think?

I put one of the cardboard squares that are put in record mailers as filler in the sleeve just to give it some dimension.

But, do you store them on your shelf or somewhere else? I guess if your recs are alphabetical you don’t need spine print to find them.
I just throw them in milk crates underneath my tt and receiver.

I just put them in a sleeve and store them with the rest alphabetically. I only have a few from Livor Mortis/Skoljd that are in those flimsy fold over covers

My least favorite are 10 inch records.
1. I can't store with them regular records 2. I don't have plastic sleeves for them 3. I can't fit them in the box where I keep my 7 inches
I have to put them all together at the end of my last shelf and it annoys me as a slightly ocd person

Like 80% of my Japanese punx LPs fall in that category lol
I feel like Toxic State rarely did spine print also.

I also grabbed some outer sleeves from an eBay store, can't remember the name of it.

Oh, yeah they’re in the mix with everything else. 10”s are at the end and I got sleeves from bags unlimited, but the smallest amount you can buy is like 50 so I have way more than I’ll ever need.

I love when 10"s come up on Analog Attack's vids. Everyone hates 10"s I think they're ok. I absolutely love Intensity and their commitment to the format.
