I finally scored a copy on eBay from the Groundzero singer's Mom who was selling off his old records. We grew up together and have known each other since junior high so I was stoked to finally get one and know who was the original owner. I received it in the mail and it looked like it was used as a coaster for a decade; scuffs, deep scratches, sticky shit, literal pinholes! Absolutely unplayable. I was gutted. It was another 2 years before I found another copy that was in good shape. |

He's saying with Croatoan it's the rare case of the CD sounding better than the LP. Apparently some of the more intricate parts and higher end got lost when they were mastering the songs for vinyl. I'm familiar with the feeling of finally buying a major want and then it shows up looking like roadkill. |

I've had VERY few issues with that since switching my buying over to Discogs and avoiding eBay completely. 9/10 records I get through Discogs come in at or better than the condition they are listed as. I love that! |

I'm still looking for Crossbearer. I check eBay at least 10 times a day for it. Last one sold for $100 on Discogs in less than a day. I thought I remembered this being a $20-40 record until pretty recently. Lame. |
