The Indianapolis one was revived for a second around early covid time (I think), but word didnβt spread to anyone younger and it seems like it had already sputtered out by the time my friends n I registered. Social media is not cool. Boards are cool. This is part of the reason the scene is in shambles today: Social media doesnβt help your scene becoming cooler. |

I feel like BiL can be a consulting firm for how to transition to a new platform tbh, in a similar vein, we should monetize the board by allowing people to pay us to start in post in threads to promote a band or product. Because, letβs face it, bands that pay to promote themselves on social media are posers who should be ridiculed. But a little product placement on board? Thatβs real. This needs to be tied to engagement cuz Iβve posted about my band a lot and the ROI has been uhhh not phenomenal. |
