pro-2A people are fucked. you know they WANT to be confronted so they can have any excuse to use their gun. Gotta justify dumping hundreds or thousands of money on what is basically a really dangerous toy. Some real backwards thinking. I can't imagine thinking I should own a gun to protect myself from a hypothetical threat of a tyrannical government or home instruder (both of which are insanely unlikely to happen) rather than do something about an existing threat that is killing hundreds of innocent people each year.

Also I wouldn't dream of taking responsibility for taking out a shooter with my own gun. If I'm in a crowded place where theres gunshots going off, I certainly don't wanna be seen carrying a gun. That's just asking to get shot by the cops or attacked by a good Samaritan. No way I'd chance getting mistaken for the bad guy

years ago, there was a kid in the video game section at target with his mom, and he was looking at games and I said "If you haven't played it, Skyrim is really good." and the mom chimes in with "We're Christians, he doesn't play those types of games, he plays battlefield and Call of Duty because that's real!"
I wonder if he's shot his parents in cold blood yet?
