That happened at my elementary school. A 6 year old shot their teacher. My niece and nephew go to a different school in Newport News and it just has me worried sick every day. Doesn’t help that my sister teaches there. WELP |

I wen't out to eat the other day with my fam and my sister was telling me how her 5 year old had a lockdown. I'm glad my stepdad wasnt there, but my sister in law mentioned that my stepdad thinks the teachers should be armed and it just made me so angry. I'm glad that I decided to not have kids, but I still worry for my nieces and nephews. Not even just the school shooters, but the world they are growing up in in general and how their not-so-perfect home lives will affect them long-term. It just makes me sad and depressed thinking about it.

There was a shooting across from apartment on Sunday I heard happen. Drove through the intersection ten minutes before it happened. The shooter is a piece of shit that I hate, if he would have saw me or I would have spent five extra minutes at Whole Foods he probably would’ve gunned for me. I’m still kind of fucked up about it. |
