Did I miss something that actually happened recently he joked about killing people in the middle east when he was serving and used a slur when mentioning middle eastern people. I can't find the video rn and I'm not putting effort into it lol yeah I remember that just wondering why the month+ delay? I figured something new must have happened |

ugh god i have some apinions on that.
i don’t think that’s even bad because…
- if you’re sent to a war that you fight, you have the right to tell your story your own way
- if you close your eyes at night and see/hear the wars i’ve never seen nor heard then i owe you a generous amount of leeway on the “pc” front
- you also have the right to have a cheesy af band that i have a right not to listen to on purpose
at night my greatest concern is having the right drugs to put me to sleep after my no trauma

I keep thinking about how one joke (or whatever) has just fucked this whole thing up for so many people. Like I have mates who were meant to be on that Irish tour, like it absolutely fucking sucks.
The only take away I have about 'cancel culture' is how fuckin uneven it is. Like if everyone was held to the same o-count, then fine, but it's 100% not and we all know it.
It must feel good when an artist you don't like gets taken down, though, so I'm sure some dork somewhere is throwing themselves a little party
