PB, how often would you recommend changing the valve seal covers? Well hold on one second there, pardner. Need some clarification. Are you referring to the valve cover gasket, or do you mean spark plug tube seals, or something else? |

Looks like we're finally buying a 2016 golf. Getting from a sister's colleague who's moving back to the states for around 5k, well maintained and decent milage. Should suffice for a few years, hopefully. honestly can't beat that price. Very glad everything worked out B) what color is it? |

We have a 2014 Outback that was fixed under warranty. At least I have faith that the Subaru will last another 200K now. I wouldn't trust a Nissan for anything. |

What the fuck is a CVT (don’t answer) We both know I'm obligated. Continuously Variable Transmission Instead of using gears like a conventional auto transmission, it's basically just two pulleys and a big rubberband thing that adjust the drive ratio being sent to your differential. When you're driving you don't feel the gears changing like you do with a conventional trans. |

look up what the 100k service is (or whatever the big one is around there), and if you buy it, ALWAYS have a few grand in cash on hand
I would say RWD sounds like a bad idea for NY state in the winter, but I assume you know how to handle that

my biggest takeaway from this experience is how unavailable and expensive used hondas are.
i did find a 2011 accord coupe with 149k for 9k which sounds less scary than anything else I’ve looked at so far.
