Why did chalie even post it? Itโs not entertainingly bad and it also isnโt good, and no one here even likes the band. Theyโre not even touring with any good bands, either I posted the video because I've been told by numerous young people that this is the best current band in hardcore.... |

Also, this is kinda an outlandish comment but since we have a 19 page Mindforce thread on gatekeeping when will one of our glorious hardcore bands say on stage about bands *ahem Scowl* using an entire scene to propel them to bigger and better things.
That aspect seems more of a slap in the face (for me) than little Johnny with the Slipknot hoodie discovering hardcore via Hate5Six at home on Youtube but isn't going to the shows yet.

The days of bands commenting about the ongoing commercialization of hardcore are coming. That Ringer article was a harbinger.
Kids on r/hardcore and twitter will dismiss it as "broke bands being jealous haters" no matter how valid the criticisms will be cause these are the spiritually bankrupt times we live in.
