After the post the other day about Neco vs Toby Klein I've decided to chuck on TOD3. Its mostly pretty shit but it's fun over a few beers. Necro vs Green Phantom was probs the best match of the opening round, just ridiculous stuff,including a big jug of milk and a gumball machine. Necros stiff punches look like they'd hurt a lot but they also look awful. Cash vs JC Bailey also fun in a skinny dudes doing dumb bumps with ladders way

attended collision tonight. weird and kinda dead crowd but it was fun. i haven’t really been watching anything besides dynamite and ppv’s. roh is fuckin strange man, legit just consists of dudes i didn’t realize were still in the company. angelico, preston vance, lee moriarty, etc. like dustin and sammy guevara are the roh tag champs WTF?! thunder rosa just stinks, what happened to her? kyle fletcher looks great. this undisputed kingdom or whatever face turn feels like such a mess. i hope this mox stuff just leads to another kenny feud tbh.

Watching Power Struggle, the finals to Jr tag league was a sick match, incredible finishing stretch with a tonne of great nearfalls. TJP brought a guitar to the ring for some reason

Kenny promo didn't really set anything up but seems he got into a backstage scuffle with Gabe Kidd. Wouldn't be sad to see that match at all. Might also be easier for Kenny to do a brawl type match than his usual style

Wato vs Douki was also quite good, both guys that have had rough starts but really won people over. Despy back and challenging for the dome is great news though, I don't speak Japanese at all but his promo rocked (well it sounded like it did anyway)

Finlay vs Taichi was really good. Finlay has improved a lot this year, he still feels like bit of a Goober and I don't want him as champ or nothing but he's delivered in every big match this year and had a real good G1. Taichi is a fantastic fiery babyface and the turn really surprised me. Feels like it was very much meant for Yuya to ne challenging Finlay at the dome but he out injured.

Zsj vs Shingo was great as you'd expect. Crowd not into Shota as challenger. I'm thinking he loses then loses to Mox Jan 5, so he can have those losses to build him up and allow him to reinvent himself somewhat, which is something that NJPW tends to do really well, make the dudes go through some adversity and get the crowd into em more. Didn't expect Ricochet to show up, particularly to challenge Zack but definitely not sad, he's been at his best in Japan

Honestly a great show and very worth a watch. Assuming Hiromu vs Naito is a go cos otherwise neither of em have something to do yet. Shingo currently doesn't seem to have an opponent but we shall see. Actually maybe Gabe on Jan 4 then Gabe has Kenny Jan 5?

I think Jake Lee might be out for a long while so Sanada is kind of taking his role. Also probably a sign that his top guy push is over and also means Yuya (when he returns) will be the top dude in J5G. The turn itself was really well done I thought. When Sanada appeared at ringside and was hyping Taichi I was into it then bam, betrayal. Also it means Taichi will probably get a singles match at the dome against Sanada so I am happy about that

Liger in NOAH was a beast and Kanemaru is an eager kid in his prime so he's willing to take all the crazy bumps Liger brings to it. The powerbomb on the floor for example is fucking nasty.

This fuckin rocked. The Taue vs Nagata match from the NJPW vs NOAH feud was probably my other favourite when I was watching the playlist a lil while back. Interpromotional stuff in Japan when they're all heated rules
