Tortured myself having the CMA's on in the background to see if they would honor John Prine or Jerome Jeff Walker and I saw Justin Bieber. Someone needs to nuke that building.

Where do you guys find new(er) stuff worth listening to? For me, Instagram. Just following newer, up and coming artists and paying attention to who they plug and run with. Edit: Spotify as well tbh |

I don't use IG but maybe I should consider it for music discovery. I basically just dig around on Spotify but it feels like a huge waste of time usually. Maybe I'm just picky. 🤷 |

Nothing wrong with being picky.
But, yeah, I’ve definitely found other artists through IG that haven’t ever been recommended or found in similar artists on Spotify.

I try and keep up to date via altcountry.nl who seems to have a real knack for finding good, up and coming stuff.
Otherwise I second that IG/Spotify-mix.

Where do you guys find new(er) stuff worth listening to? I explore record labels with artists I like or I'll see who artists I like are following on Twitter or Instagram. I guess it's the modern version of reading through the liner notes of a CD and checking out the bands in the "thank you" section. |
