Wish it was Steve and not Justin who passed honestly.

Kinda lost track of him and didn't notice the album came out, putting it on right now. Artwork is already a whole lot better than that watercolor thing he used on the single.

Yeah, there's some tunes on there. Malice into Broken Pieces into Drinking Sad is a real good sequence of numbers. Thing is, I'll never really like the heavy-metal-guitars-on-country-combo. Feels hokey most of the time but it kind a works here, it's not all too on the nose. Like, I enjoyed Deep Down more than I expected once the distortion swelled in.
There was talk of him playing Hellfest in France and touring Europe but that seems to have fallen through...

I saw Charley in Kalamazoo Michigan a couple weeks ago, he played a bunch of new stuff from the Man from Waco and holy smokes it's good. Heavy spaghetti western feel. I was getting a video of him dancing and he took a pretty good tumble on the stage but played it off well. Dude doesn't miss and just keeps getting better.

What a bummer. His s/t is a big part of what got me back into this music.
Hope he found the peace he was looking for.

One of the best live shows I ever got to witness was Steve Martin and the Steep Canyon Rangers, it was part R rated comedy and part absolute shredding blue grass show.
