Currently reading “No Beast So Fierce” by Edward Bunker and I can’t put it down. One of the best crime novels I’ve ever read. Bunker played Mr Blue in Reservoir Dogs and was a career criminal and author. The film based on his novel Straight Time was so good. I'd be interested to see how the book compares. It’s on my list, will def be checking it out once I finish the book

Picked up The Sun Also Rises by Hemingway thanks to Libby. I didnt realize it was less than 200 pages so im going to breeze through that so I can read A Farewell To Arms
A Farewell to Arms is fantastic, read it over an afternoon or two.

There was a shop near me that had two copies, might pop in to see if it's still there.

I'm aboard the Lonesome Dove train and a little over halfway done. Story is starting to get dark. Page turner though, living up to the hype.

I just read Edgar Rice Burroughs the Monster Men, found it pretty boring tbh. wen't on tooooo long. I love the Pellucidar and Tarzan novels, this one I just didn’t get into. Anyway, wen't looking at secondhand places and finally found a copy of Lonesome Dove ($4). Just past 200 pages in and I really am enjoying it. How many of us are reading or just read it now?

If you enjoy the killing-of-fascists included in this novel, also check out Islands In The Stream - it's unfinished but one of the best in my apinion as far as "Hemingway's Vibes" go.

Just finished Roadside Picnic. Almost finished with Carnival (Charles Beaumont), about half finished with Ravenous Ghosts (Kealan Patrick Burke). Reading rocks.

Picked up a mint first edition Harlan Ellison - Paingod I fucked my neighbor and he caught feelings for me. Gave me a first edition of the Iliad because he thought that would make we want to be in a relationship with him lol.

I just bought Catchpenny by Charlie Huston. He’s probably my favorite novelist. I am only a few pages into it. So far, it’s cool.
