Been together with my girlfriend coming up 5 years, lived together for 3 of those. She's awesome but I can't deny that I've learned long term relationships are hard. Even though we're both into the same stuff we approach things from totally different places. I like going out, she's a homebody, I like having space to do my own thing, she'd be happy if we spent all of our time together.

Been with the same gal for 6 years. I need a lot of time to myself and we don't text all day every day. We're opposites in a lot of ways and it just makes life more fun to explore the different interests and passions we have. i'm glad that's working for you guys because my last ex of 7 years and i were so different that we turned eachother off after a while and that's the reason why we aren't together today. |

been with my wife for 7 years, married for 4. my first son just turned 1 this past May. things are up and down but I wouldn't trade it for anything.
marriage sucks sometimes but you find a way to get through rough shit. not to sound like an after-school special but finding the right person to go through all of it with makes it a hell of alot easier.

I broke up with my ex back in May and it was easily the ugliest break up I've ever had. Started talking to this girl not long after and we recently just started hanging out. Everything is going really well, my life is better now that I'm not with my ex-girlfriend and I'm just overall feeling better. The weird thing is that I'll start thinking about my last relationship out of nowhere and it just bums me the fuck out. I realized yesterday that I miss the closeness we shared, always being around each other and stuff like that. It actually made me feel confused because I met someone who I genuinely enjoy being around and talking to and yet I still will think about the little things about my last relationship. I'm starting to think I may have listened to the wrong people and jumped into something to soon. Not really sure.

my old coworker would call her husband every day at lunch and talk to him for like an hour about her day so far. like yo waht tha fuck do ya talk about when ya get home? nothing even really happens to me on a daily basis that is interesting to discuss more than like 5 minutes when i get home muchacho, my girl now tries to do this. We work different shifts, so she'll call me at noon when she gets up and I'm already six hours into my day. Asking about my day like what I do is super exciting (it's not). My role in tha convo is to then ask her about her day. "Oh, just woke up". Coooooooooooool.
Sometimes I don't answer and just pretend that I was too busy
FOH with small talk
My girlfriend is an elementary school teacher and would call me every single day after work. I would just put myself on mute while doing whatever the fuck I was doing and just let her talk. That way when she gets home I don't have to listen to how weird her kids are. |

been single since the beginning of the summer and just decided to give the whole tinder/bumble thing a serious try for the first time. a lot of times it makes me feel more lonely, just swiping and getting no matches, or having people straight ignore you one after the other. but then i'll finally chat with somebody and it'll be pretty nice. still nervous as fuck about going on actual real dates though.

Single since January of 2017. I did 8 months in the Feds and my girl slept around while I was in and got pregnant. Dumped me over an email when I got to the halfway house. Since then I've talked to a few girls but my drug issues have made it hard to be with.
Now I'm almost 5 months clean and sort of talking to a different ex. Not sure where it'll go but once I'm off paper in a few months we are gonna make a few trips to see each other.

The trick is that you can't swipe right on everyone or your ELO will be so low that you won't even appear in ladies' stack of swipes. Set your radius to like ten miles outside of what you're looking for and swipe the people who would be outside of what you're looking for left so you can even it out a little

Been in a relationship for nearly three years. I just don't know, most of the time I don't feel into it, there's constant arguing and shit but when we fight and discuss breaking up I don't have the balls to follow through with it. Same with her. I don't know how this will all resolve.
