Don’t people meet others in bars/clubs any more? I was blackout drunk in our university bar the first time I met wife. Been togheter for 10 years and married for 5. I'm 26 and only realizing now how vastly superior it is. I was always put off by creeps or countless stories from my friends getting roofied/having near misses and didn't realize that's while that's still something to always look out for it's much less of a problem if you just go to the right bars. LA especially has a pretty lame bar culture; you really have to dig through piles of steaming shit to find ones that are fun to be in and don't suck. That's sort of life and people in a nutshell. Putting yourself in position to meet people irl instead of the curation they present on apps definitely seems to cut out a lot of "oh by the way, I..." situations though |

yeah the loft at the chance. which i think just closed RIP that was a good show. We played one with this is hell that I remember being exceptional at a place that was kinda a storefront too. The best time I saw Danzig was at the Chance. |
