leave out some hot pepper suet for em, the capsacin doesn’t affect birds but it’ll fuck them varmints up This is how you end up with Mexican Squirrels |

The bunnies are fine because they eat the dandies. The gophers keep digging holes under my shed and my porch and that's annoying. The squirrels keep eating and plucking my pear trees and I keep finding what would have been good pears on the ground. They also had a huge gang bang last week, I saw movement in a bush and there was moaning. Then 6 came out and took off and then the one slut came out when coast was clear.

I've had wasps in my attic before. I got an exterminator the first two times(500$ each time) but the last time they were behind the siding and didn't seem to burrow inside so after unsuccessfully trying to kill them with a can of bug spray, I just let them bee. Save yourself a ton of money and use domyown.com to get any of your household pest control needs taken care of. They also have stuff for taking care of your lawn. I can spray my house quarterly for 5 years for what it costs for an exterminator to do it once. |

Just spent 1200 dollars for someone to fix my got dang well. My pump was all fucked up and my water was coming out slightly brown anytime it rained. Installed a 3 stage inline filter doodad to get all the particulate out, now my water tastes like fucking Fiji and isn't beige when it rains.

I've got like 10 trees to cut down, there are a couple leaks in the roof of my shop from branches falling, the plumbing to one of my outdoor drippinis is all jacked up, my brand new tractor has TWO hydraulic leaks and I've got like 10 days worth of drainage work to do. This is just a small portion of my work list. I am VERY glad I didn't buy a larger property because I would be overwhelmed moreso than I already am haha

Your well casing may be cracked and you’re getting surface water infiltration. An inline filter isn’t fixing the root cause, if that is the case. |

Sometimes we pre-clean, where we give them no direction other than anything extra (couch cleaned, whatever), and then other times like today this place is a disaster of toys and kid shit everywhere. They are pretty good at understanding your organization but otherwise they will find shit under the couch and what not, and will just put it in a little pile.

Today is housekeeper day for me, ie when I feel like a piece of shit smoking dense nuggs of fat buds in the backyard while somebody else cleans my house! before we bought a house and were trapped in a one bedroom apartment i was always on a "oh you have a HOUSEKEEPER you BOUGIE piece of SHIT" kick when people talked about cleaners now that we've been in a house for a year and change with an extra bathroom and two extra bedrooms on top of just more space and more surface areas to accumulate dust etc: i completely get it now even with daily cleanup etc i still miss stuff or put it off sometimes i am too achy or depressed to even care so we will likely start using a service next year once we're more organized and "moved in" |
