Maybe I'm a sellout, but my favorite vegan mayo is Best Foods and vegan butter is Country Crock.

Never tried Country Crock's butter, I'm sure it's tasty. I do miss Earth Balance but I won't fuck with palm oil

the miyokos one is really good but super pricey. I only use it in things where butter is a prevalent taste.
vegenaise is by far the best vegan product and has been forever. It and tofurky are the only two things from when I first started being vegan that I still eat.

Saw a product at whole foods called Not Milk. They have whole and 2%. Picked up the 2% to try, hoping for a revolution. It's just coconut based milk. Gross. yeah in my experience all the coconut milk based drinks are really gnarly. coconut water rules, coconut milk rules, why you gotta make it into something gross?

Props to Tofurky for not selling out after all these years either. Their product line could use a revamp, but not at the cost of a corporate takeover. On a separate note, all these companies trying to make a buck on the veg beef. I've tried most I've seen and they all suck except Beyond and Impossible. Has anyone had the Beyond KFC yet? We are supposed to go to Scotland in July so I plan to get the KFC there. The parent company that owns them and others sighned a 3 year deal with Beyond Meat. Could result in a national rollout. agree on Tofurky, everything you said. I wish the Impossible had about 1/2 the fat.

Anybody got some good Mexican recipes? Iβm making dinner for some vegan friends in a week or two. One of my favorite is to make wet carnitas burritos: For the sauce - www.isabeleats.com/easy-enchilada-sauce/For the Jackfruit - tacomex.com/jackfruit-carnitas/ (I just use orange juice instead of the pineapple. I also like to marinate for up to 24 hours but not sure it's necessary.) Then I make some black beans, Pico and guac. It ain't all that much work either.
