the hunted rocks, didn't realize that was a friedkin movie. probably said it somewhere before, but it makes a good double feature with The Edge

Maybe it’s just because I’m an idiot but man 21 and 22 Jump Street have insane replay value

Ghostlight was pretty good. Folksy and sincere in a CODA sorta way. Don't know if it actually hits the RT score it has though haha.

Can't wait to take shrooms and watch the new Avatar, honestly had the best time in the theater, but also better cause my boss supplied me with the shrooms.

It’s legit pointless to watch Avatar movies at home. If you don’t catch them at the cinema then you’re doing it wrong. I was legitimately mesmerized during the 30 minutes of Discovery Channel Pandora coverage in the last one.

Saw One Hour Photo was a part of the photography collection for Criterion Channel and watched it last night while the laundry was running. I still have memories of watching that and Death To Smoochy in theaters as a juvenile because I was a huge Robin William's fan as a kid and being disturbed lol. Movie still holds up with him being genuinely creepy and with some style. It's wild that Mark Romanek only did this and like two other movies giving he did so many classic music videos but I guess not everyone can be like Fincher I had to cut this off about 30 minutes in last night, was making me too anxious lol I wasn't even stoned!

It’s a pretty fucked up ending. He finally develops the photos from the family reunion well after the one hour guarantee, and everyone in the pictures has red eyes.

Definitely the weakest installment of Deadpool. There were some funny moments, but it was mostly just tired. Halfway through I was very ready for it to end.

Cuckoo kicked ass. What a wild ride. I keep seeing a lot of mentions of “too weird, what was happening?!” but I didn’t find it hard to follow whatsoever.
Dan Stevens rules forever.
Even though Longlegs made a shit ton of money for Neon I think Cuckoo was the better film and they probably should have put more promotion behind it.

It's so fucking fun. Gonna see Didi and Cuckoo tomorrow and am pumped.

Watched this yesterday. Hong Kong nut cruncher. Goes into more Fantastic directions (almost like an '80s period piece wuxia?) but ultimately is about bros being bros. Great action, ass beater flick. Sammo Hung is 72yo?????????????? How does he do it

wen't to an early screening of Blink Twice, They did a Q+A with Zoe Kravitz and it was moderated by Kid Cudi walking around with a cane. The movie was fine. Kravitz tries to elicit commentary on colonialism, rape culture, hedonism, and female complacency. She tackles some of those themes better than others. I thought the first half was alright, but I thought all the hedonism satire stuff was kinda stale and felt like it's been done before way too many times. It only really got the ball rolling when it became more of a thriller with more dark humor injected into it. Kravitz definitely thinks she is being more subversive than she is, it's just a rape-revenge film for Gen Z folks. Cool to see Geena Davis again in a big movie. Q+A was puff piece kinda shit and the people seem to be there to see Kid Cudi rather than the movie. Didn't realize he still had simp fans.
