Have you seen Black Sheep, the killer sheep movie? It’s a safe choice. Oooo this looks very much in the wheelhouse I’m going for here. Leviathan I liked but that and Deep Star Six are not the vibe I’m looking for TBH. If somebody doesn’t look at me during the movie I picked and go, “what the fuck are we watching,” I will have failed. With that in mind here's a few more after taking a quick glance at my shelves: Berserker (1987) Devil Story (1986) Uninvited (1987) Burglar from Hell (1993) -- SOV Doom Asylum (1987) For an actual really good movie: Butcher Baker Nightmare Maker (1981) Everyone is making great suggestions!!!

Doom Asylum I imagine exists because somebody knew an old asylum and they were like ted made this really unconvincing burn victim sfx. We could make a movie!

Yes, The Seventh Curse is incredible. Same director that did Story of Ricky.

It’s corny to say, but you really affected my life, especially by “strangers on the internet” standards.

Everybody Wants Some was broader than I thought it’d be. I think Linklater was trying to make a a big moneymaker without compromising on the hangout movie framework. So many quips, so quotable. A real feat to maintain that level of fun for nearly two hours. The curly haired overly earnest dude with the dirt lip Ieft the actor life behind and is now in the jesus business. www.tannerkalina.com/

There is no debate regarding Kubrick being on the list of GOAT directors
Saturday Night was OK. There is something about films that present themselves as being chaotic, but end up feeling polished and derivative. It just copies Birdman in a lot of ways, but not in the best way. Viva la MAD TV!!!

Terrifier 2 ain’t exactly doin much to justify its long runtime. Never does cool kills tho. I’ve softened in my old age. For a modern slasher, Halloween 2018 does a great job of showing intense violence but with judicious editing and smart shots. I realize that’s not the point of Terrifier, but I guess I just dislike the emphasis on the cruelty. Dead Alive is one of my favorite movies, but the ultra violence is actually fun. It’d be cool if the stuff between kills could rise to more than sporadically engaging as well. Terrifier 2 absolutely feels like it took everything from the script and edited none it down in post production.
