I liked the 6th episode, probably my favorite since the 3rd, definitely gave Mando more character. It was cool seeing Dave Filoni be a x wing pilot, probably a childhood dream come true.

Every episode has been great IMO. Even the filler ones. Every episode just seems like a movie crammed into 40 mins. I haven't even let down once.

Richard Aoyade voicing the droid in ep 6 threw me for a loop. I couldn’t focus on the episode because between having Sabu from Mighty Boosh voicing a droid and Bill Burr, I was like WTF?
Still a good episode though.

I hated all of the characters except for bill burr in the new one. A lot of it felt kinda cheesy and forced. Still entertaining though

yeah I have Verizon so I got the free year of Disney+ but I cant imagine paying for it, even if its only 7 bucks. If I had kids, it'd be a no brainer. But I own all the star wars movies already and the Mandalorian is only gonna justify having it for 8/52 weeks of the year.
These next two episodes are gonna determine whether or not I even give a shit about the Mandalorian anymore. I like the show, but the last 3 episodes were all the same thing with zero plot development and just a little character development. I don't mind the xena warrior princess vibe, but when theres only 8 episodes per season I guess I expected that half the show wouldn't be filler episodes.

I think it was campy for camps sake, that seems to be the motif of the show. She the actress that played osha the wildling in game of thrones and someone in Harry Potter (idgaf about HP so I don’t remember who, but she was a villain). She was great in GOT but she seems like she’s typecast into the same wild animal-woman roles. |

Guys TLJ is a really fucking good Star Wars movie. I'm rewatching them in the lead up for this Friday and it's the first Star Wars I've seen since Empire that made me feel they way I did watching Empire. It draws upon Empire without being a beat for beat rehash like TFA was. I feel like it opened up possibilities for TROS too. It was dark, funny, gut wrenching, the emotional beats were earned. It felt like anything could happen. It's fucking awesome.

I'm expecting everyone to shit on The Rise of Skywalker, but I'll enjoy it no matter what I'm sure.

I cant stand that star wars fans think that a) the Disney movies are bad, and b) they think they're worse than the prequels and that George Lucas should still be in control. They're star wars fans, so they full well know that George Lucas actually fuckin sucks as a director. Like go look up what the original cut of A New Hope was supposed to turn out like. It as fucking abysmal til his friends/first wife fixed it for him in editing. The two best movies of the franchise were not directed by him.
People need to grow up and accept the new films for what they are and just fucking enjoy them because no amount of bitching on the internet is going to bring fuckin Mara Jade back. Like you can still read the EU novels and write your own fanfiction and be happy with that. Just fuckin pretend its canon in your head. It doesn't make a difference.

The Disney films aren’t even remotely bad, they’re just not the original trilogy and it’s impossible for people to judge the three trilogies on their own individual artistic merits. Yeah, there’s shortcomings with the new films, but they’re definitely not bad movies. I’m sure if Empire or ROTJ came out today people would pick those apart, too. “THAT is what Vader looks like?! WTF” “They invented Ewoks just to market toys to kids!” “How could they kill off Boba Fett that early? He was shaping up to be an interesting character!!!”
