His loss will be extremely frustrating. It'll be par for the course for homogenous white folk to mistake a beto sticker on their car for reaching out to make sure disadvantaged communities that could swing the state. On the other hand, he'll carry el paso, san an, austin, houston. The dfw will probably be close. There's a real chance he can win the state if he can get traction in the rio grande valley and it could be a significant win he's managed to convince the rooted and fiscally conservative hispanic population that he's more similar to them than Cruz(which he is). |
