It's hard to engage with this particularly because it's all so meaningless. None of these people actually give a shit what Kavanaugh has done to anyone at any point in his life and, frankly, at least some of these democratic senators don't give a shit either and just want to put on a show.

Even if they do take the Senate there is no way they get away with keeping the spot open for 2 years. Even if they do then you are banking on them keeping the Senate and Trump losing the white house which isn't going to happen. |

I struggle to understand how any of you wake up and put pants on in the morning if you all think this is so helpless. Scalia's seat was left open for 293 days. Granted, Republican obstructionism benefited by having a Senate majority, but what is stopping the Dems from calling on further hearings up until the midterms in November? Nothing. The "blue wave" is real. It isnt hyperbole. It's happening. Keep these fuckers hanging til November. Theyre gonna take the Senate. GOP will have no recourse.
Ramirez's allegations need to be fully investigated.
Swetnick's allegations to be fully investigated.
Grassley and Co. wanted Ford to testify this past Monday. They got a 3-day extension. It's a start. Let the investigation for the others take a bit longer, schedule separate hearings for them.

The reason Anita Hill got railroaded was because Clarence's other accusers were intimidated into silence. It left the GOP to paint her as "bitter and jealous", and she was all alone. There were other accusers ready and willing to testify. There are now other accusers ready and willing to testify.
