Interesting article about sexual assault of males in the military. Im like 99% sure the dude they interviewed for this was a poster, the dude who said he was writing a book about Afghanistan and then never did. I debated whether or not to post this because I don't want anyone to think I am in any way trying to make light of the situation. I don’t understand why that’s the hill they’d die on. Also, could someone explain it to me so I understand it? From what I gather there are like 12 unions involved in this situation and 8 out of the 12 voted to accept the contract?

I’m confused.. the vote was 52-43 against paid sick leave. Six republicans for it, one democrat voted against it.
That’s 49 democrats (- Manchin) + 6 so it should be 55. So did some democrats abstain???

So 42 republicans voted no. There’s also 50 republicans and 6 voted for it. So that’s another 2 votes unaccounted for. Wtf
