Is there any good reading about the apinions and thoughts of the people in Palestine regarding the existence of Israel? Like has Israel so poisoned its relationship with Gaza and the Palestinians who might otherwise reject Hamas in favor of a moderate position or two state solution, that ending the occupation would end the conflict? I want to reiterate that I'm not saying Palestine is responsible for their treatment, I'm just wondering if ending the occupation is even a realistic solution for peace at this point, or if we will be simply swapping revanchist violence til the end of time? Regardless of whether it does, I'm obviously of the position that the occupation should be ended, and that's been my position forever, I'm just so pessimistic about this whole situation.
